Things are often carelessly arranged, or there is little consideration of the potential presence of disabled people. \u2018Accessible Academia\u2019 was founded to present this group a space to exchange experiences. Accessible Academia also does advocacy work, and stands up for the rights of disabled people (students and employees) connected to a Dutch university. Rooting our work in academic work, we also wish to give a platform to experience-led research on disability. Furthermore, we amplify the voices of disabled scientists\/scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accessible Academia wants to generate attention for the hurdles that disabled scientists\/scholars, university employees, and students so often face. We provide a space to discuss these experiences.
